Markbeam

Safari installs from its own menu. Two taps:

  1. Tap Share, at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Markbeam then opens like any other app, with your documents already in it — they live in this browser either way, so nothing moves and nothing uploads.

Publishes this document as a Gist on the account your token belongs to.

Styles the preview and the HTML and Word exports. Every rule is scoped to the preview, so it cannot restyle the editor or the toolbar. The PDF ignores it — that export rasterises the page, and CSS its renderer cannot read produces a blank document rather than an error.

Save this document to a repository, or open one from it. Markbeam needs the narrowest token the service offers, and nothing more: on GitHub a fine-grained token with Contents read and write on a single repository; on GitLab a project access token with write_repository. That bounds what a stolen token could reach.
